I did a review already but clearly it has disappeared.Emma and Ben dated in high school and had made plans to get married. But as life does it sent Ben a curve ball that had him leave the town and Emma. Years later when he comes back home for their 10 year high school reunion they immediately cross paths again. Emma is not sure she is happy about this but he steps in to help her when she is in need. As they get to know one another once again they both realize that still care for one another. But when Emma has her dream to be a mother fulfilled by way of an abandoned baby will the secret the baby comes with be the undoing of Emma and Ben's newly rekindled friendship and more?

I enjoyed the story, it has some cute plot twists.

Beautiful, touching book by one of my favorite Christian authors. A success, as always.
This book held my interest from beginning to end. It contains some unexpected twists. I became involved with the characters and didn't want to leave them.
This was a great read. I loved the romance and the way Renee the affection the main character has with baby Averly. I was so happy to see the relation of baby and old boyfriend. That was a surprise. Great book.
I did not see the plot twist coming. And when she slammed that door...yes..just yes. I think EmmaKay (love the name) handled every situation better than me. I threw quite a few tantrums over the course of this book. I was so emotionally invested.
I've read all of Renee Andrews Claremont, Alabama books and they are wonderful. The way she writes you feel like you are standing there watching it unfold before you eyes. They are uplifting and touch on many of today's issues. If you like to read a book without foul language, you will love her books. She is an amazing writer and woman.
